Targets/coloring for 600 yards

I feel ya,A5. I am not into the technology either. I prefer a simple spotting scope.
But ,I have shot with folks down at the property that had a Camera target system they built out of An FPV camera/transmitter, like the one they use in a drone. Worked very well and for under $200 ,if you already own a laptop or an iPad.

I don't shoot for groups enough at 600 to want to spend money on the camera tech. Just was wondering what color of target most shooters find is easier for them to see their bullet holes.

I'm only going to try for groups at those ranges when the conditions are best for it. Other then that I'm happy as a pig in mud blasting paint of the gongs.

Now I wish I had a vid camrea today because I hit the 6 inch swinging gong 5 out of 5 with the cz and 129 ablr handloads today.

They have a video on YouTube on how to make a target camera out of camera transmitters that are in drones. Really doesn’t look very hard if you apply yourself. And most of the parts are sold on Amazon. If you have a regular cell phone not an Apple product the whole cost is under $100.
I belong to a gun club right now. But, I have buddies with land and when I get the situation to set up my own range again. I will definitely be building one of those cameras.
