Anodize the barrel. My opinion.

I just came across some 17 round Elanders relatively cheap. I don't necessarily need 18 mags. Interested in some for your purpling project? I'd ship some to you for what I'd have in em.

as far as anodizing the barrel im not sure thats a good idea( i had thought about it but worried the process may ruin the barrel ) what i was planning on is sending it out for guncandy coating , they have a coating that is very close to the anodized purple, how long are those mags most of my shooting is from prone or off a bench so long mags get in the way

They're same dimension as the 20 rd 5.56 mags, if you're familiar. They allow bench/prone from a 6" bipod.

im not ive never used anything other then the 10rd mags heck normally i only load 5 rds in them at a time anyways , not sure id ever use a 17rd mags or use them much but that could be a good thing if i sent them out for anodizing

Had to get rid of that ugly brake so put a stainless one on it though soon enough its getting swapped for a qd/brake/suppressor mount

had to make my edc match my rifle lol the sad thing is this base plate fits 100x better then the oem springfield one

what can i say i am a fan of certian purples lol and customizing

^^ color shifts from black to blue to purple to red i just couldnt find a decent pic in my album atm

I've always loved the visored headlights in that gen Camero.

That paint is sick, I've seen lots of reds and greens and oranges locally, but never a black that changed to a color. Love it.
