Klem, l have tried it with the 55gr. 223 with a Larue barrel. 2-3 inch groups maybe. My 300 blk will shoot 3/4-1 inch group with any ammunition with 150 gr.bullets. 3-4 inches with fiocchi , even their 150 grain bullets. I haven’t had any success with them at all.

Allen,

I wasn't aware Fiocchi made Grendel ammunition so I was curious.

My experience with Fiocchi factory .223 55Vmax is similar - terrible group sizes.

Fiocchi 223 didn't work well in my AR either. First time shooting it further than 100 yds was 260 yds with some Fiocchi ballistic tip. Groups were ~8". Thought it was me. Friend handed me some Black Hills which produced a 2.63" group. Every gun is different

They dont.

I'm kind of lost myself on what ammo he is talking about.

Fiocchi 223 55 gr. and in 300 blk 150 grain ammo will not group in my guns. I didn’t mean to mislead people that fiocchi makes Grendel ammo. Probably wouldn’t try it anyway.

Klem, I have broken down my gun, lapped the receiver, and will report if I see any appreciable improvement. Also do you fellas stay in need of brass to reload?

If you don't reload there are usually people willing to buy brass at reasonable prices in the EE section of the forum.

On the subject of Fiocchi ammo.I have tried it in a few calibers. Walmart used to sell it in .308 and .223.And I want to bought 1000 rounds of the 155 grain Fiocchi from Sportsmans Guide a special deal. unfortunately I have to agree with everyone else. It was only good for the brass. Groups with Fiocchi ammo were god-awful
