I purchased one of Waynes new bottom metal with floorplate for my mini- Grendel. It was shipped quick and recieved in perfect shape. It looks good and absolutely improves both the profile of the mini and makes it much easier to carry, important to me because I carry much more than sling.
After the very easy install I did face a problem in that I could not get the magazine to reliably hold 4 rounds not matter what I tried. I emailed Wayne about this and he was very quick to respond with a couple of suggestions and when those did not solve the problem advised me to send it back. I sent it back to him and in one week I had a new unit back. This new unit works flawlessly. I do find that with the scope I'm using it is easier to drop the rounds in from the bottom than feed from the top but it is still a simple operation.
