She needs a new B&C Varmint stock. Did your gunsmith have to widen the barrel channel?

Oh yes and had to re-do the bedding so it was center perfect with just minimal almost non-noticeable even gap all way up either side. He really impressed me and thats saying something, hes always done so. Cant wait to get it zerod, drop data collected and set up to go play.

No b&c...I love the American stock, the feel is tough to beat, also lightweight. Cant keep my hands off this thing right now.

i don't have them anywhere else, unsure how to take them from there and post, when i click the link they open up in a browser, don't think you need instagram to view them but maybe my puter logs me in automatically? maybe that's the issue, can one confirm?

Bartlein recently announced/introduced their new line of carbon wrapped barrels. Based on their testing it has same accuracy as their all steel barrels. That would be a significant evolution in carbon wrapped barrels.
What has been your experience with the proof research barrel?

6 lb 11.5 oz bare rifle, it got 2605 fps on Saturday for five shot string at 66 degrees and 4415 elevation with hornady black...25 fps faster than factory rating and stayed sub moa on gong at 525 yards.
Leupold medium rings 5.0 oz Leupold Vx3i 4.5-14x40(30mm side focus) cds scope is 15.0 oz. Scoped rifle is 8.0 lbs on the nose. 8.2 ft/lbs recoil energy, a sweetheart to shoot. |
