Hello! My name is Andy, I live in south central AK. Ive been fascinated by firearms to varying degrees pretty much forever. Last year I built my first AR and really came to appreciate the modularity of the platform. Anyway, through my own hubris, I ended up with a geissele trigger and a mbt2s. So the natural conclusion (and because my little goblin brain lights up whenever I get gun parts in the mail) was to build another rifle around the extra trigger. My first AR is a pretty standard 12.5 5.56. I decided to do something different, and after much reading decided to roll the dice and gamble on a BCA 20 SS sidecharger in this wonderful caliber ive heard so much about, 6.5 grendel. And that brings me here.

Be aware though Gendels seem to have a way of multiplying

Welcome! I am sure I would enjoy shooting a Grendel in Alaska as much as Texas. However, up where you are I might want a .338 Win. Mag as back up.
