I'm Rex from Arizona and never had much of an interest in the 6.5 Grendel, until just having come into possession of a pretty special CZ-527 Grendel. It was built by Jim Brockman in collaboration with Bill Alexander when Bill was just introducing the cartridge. I was lucky to get in touch of Mr. Brockman two days ago (before I bought the rifle yesterday) and he told me a little of its story. Seems he and Mr. Alexander took it to the SHOT show and SCI shows that year to show it off and play up the cartridge, but that's about all I know. I am hoping someone here can help me reach Mr. Alexander too, to learn more of what he may remember of the rifle.
Took it to the range this morning and it shot sub-MOA with a handload I knocked out last night with the 120 NBT and TAC. Also shot pretty good with Hornady factory. The rifle came with dies and 9 boxes of factory ammo, so a complete package! I'm looking forward to shooting it more and taking it hunting come fall.

Anyhow, nice to meet you all - we'll visit more, no doubt.
