they might not be called a ??? Grendel and go by something else (like 6mm AR), but if it was designed off the x39 case that was blown out to create the Grendel, it's in the family!
- .20 Grendel (anyone have links to info on this?)
also, found this gem looking for info on the .243 LBC: poems by Algernon Charles Swinburne
left to right: .20 LBC, .22 LBC, .243 LBC, .264 LBC, 30 ARX, 7.62X39
what does LBC stand for?
also, perhaps we should start collaboration to add what isn't, into Wikipedia!
I'm still waiting for someone to add threefiddyseven Grendel to the list using the untapered Starline brass. 12" AR pistol pushing 140 FTXs with Magnum pistol or fast rifle powders........
I like the idea but I think with the OD of the straight walled Grendel brass, .40 cal would be the largest we could go. If .40 would even fit. Not sure.
The ID of a Grendel case is somewhere right around .40 so unfortunately, I don't think 10mm would work. Would make for a great "10mm Maximum" semi auto handgun, though.Threefiddyseven Grrrrrr would probably end up looking like something in between 300 BLK and 458 Socom. Which is a gap that should be filled!

L to R: 6x45, 6x6.8, 6.5 Grendel, 300 Blackout, American 30 (30 SPC), 35 SPC.
458 SOCOM
Six5 (6.5x6.8 or 6.5 SPC)
Yes. They are too narrow. I would have bought Grendel wildcats but the barrels would have cost me at least 3X as much.
I only included the photos to show the shoulders. Sort of like cheesecake shots for shooters.

...and in 224 we have at least the Titan and LBC.
Interestingly we also have VonGruff’s Geendel Max in 6.5 in addition to the Grendel and the LBC. The Grendel Max is a slightly stretched version of the Grendel.

I am quite curious to know more about the increased performance that the Grendel Max provides.
what differentiate the 6mm AR, Grinch, Fat Rat and Turbo 40 from each other? or are they all different names for the same thing?
OP, LBC stands for Les Baer Custom who developed the 264 LBC to be a 6.5 Grendel clone with a different throat. Completely cross compatible with 6.5 grendel. So all the LBCs are off a Grendel case but I would surmise that they use an LBC style throat instead of a SAAMI Grendel style throat.
