Are these barrels still available? I see the thread is still open, but there hasn't been any activity lately. Also, am I right in thinking these are mid length gas system?

bought a 20" upper from member HuntTxhogs (great guy, thanks!) first day out with factory bulk Hornady and 6x scope it shoots sub-MOA! My Howa Grendel shoots 1 ragged hole now gotta fill the "spittin distance" niche!

It should if the BCA bolt face depth measures .136 and otherwise in spec. It is a good idea to measure the bolts overall length which is 2.810 (face of lugs to tail of the bolt). A couple manufactures didnt add the .01 onto the tail (5.56 bolt .125 bolt face depth and 2.800 length) whereas 6.5 Grendel from AA and most manufacturers use .136 bolt face and 2.810 bolt length. There can be a varying tolerance by different manufactures on bolts and firing pins. Bolts should be within .002 to .003 max IMHO.
The concern is firing pin portrusion, there is only .008 tolerance in firing pin protrusion (minimum .028 maximum .036 firing pin protrusion)
