Read something on another site about 80% lower registration. Don't know how that works or if true, I would register it as a toaster oven because its not a firearm and plan to use it for cheese toast.

The %80 is a very intersting process, i looked into it recently. You must submit your “request to build a firearm” via the CFARS system. They do a dros background on you, and if cleared give you a serial nunber that you must engrave on the firearm within ten days. The %80 or the complete firearm cannot be built until you recieve the serial number. Then you have 30 days to submit four photos of the entire firearm built showing seriel number engraved, and showing the firearm as Not an assault weapon, to the CFARS site. Also interesting is that theres an entirely different website to register it if you wish( not required unless its an assault weapon).

Also i will say that the reason the gentlemans ar pistols were confiscated, and the officers mistakenly didnt mention either, was that as soon as he registered them it identified those “pistols”, as not being on the CA aporoved pistol list. Only pistols with certain safety features are allowed in CA. Must have a safety(duh), must have a chamber indicator, and last must have a firing pin blocking pin to prevent discharges if dropped.
He tried to register an unapproved pistol, simple as that.

Omg i should not know all that i need to get the f out if this state...
