    95 grain V-Max loads

    Anyone have any good loads for 95 grain V-Max bullets. Bought a box on a whim to see how they do on coyotes but wanted to get a load preference before I wing it. Currently have CFE 223 and 8205 powders. I'm using a 24" Lilja barrel. Thanks in advance

    Hello all, I'm thinking of diversifying my reload ammo and might go with the 95gr V-Max. I like that it still has a little of a boat-tail to help with a higher BC. What kind of results are you seeing? MV, accuracy, velocity? What's your favorite recipe for them? I like the idea of having something flatter-shooting and

        I am loading them over 34gr of CFE 223 but that is after working up to that to make sure it was safe. Just under 3000 fps out of my Lilja AR24 barrel.

          Good to know. I tried CFE 223 with the 123 grain SST and AMAX bullets and couldn't get either to shoot well with that barrel. I'll have to give it another try with the lighter bullets.
