Have been trying to find a load for this bullet without much success. Ran a ladder with lever up to 31.8 gr. I was testing multiple rifles and somehow misplaced the sheet I had the chrono data on. In my load book however I had the top end velocity at 31.2 of 2468 and 2480 at 31.5 gr. At 31.8 the velocity was flat. The node looked to be at the top end so loaded 5 at 31.2 and 5 at 31.5. specs below.
18" 264 LBC, Lapua brass(2x fired), CCI 41,2.240 COAL 85 degrees, 75% RH
31.2 gr lever 2468 ES 20 5 shots 1.01"
31.5 lever 2480 33ES 5 shots 2.0"
Based on the chrono data 31.5 looked to be max as the velocity was flat at 31.8.
I had loaded the two 5 shot strings at the range after running the ladder and ran out of time to test further. If I can refine the load and keep it at 1" or less at 2450 ish I will be happy. Just looking for another option for fall. FWIW in multiple calibers including a custom 7mag that shoots consistent 1/2 moa I have not been able to get very good accuracy results with partitions in general. more testing to come.
