Have any of you shot the Sierra 107 grain SMK? I picked several up, and am looking to load a few to see if I can get a good coyote load going.
Any Sierra 107 Match King Accuracy Loads around?

Hi, I have the same question for Sierra SMK 120 and 123 grain projectiles with either new Lapua or once-used Hornady brass and CCI 450 primers. I have a Les Baer set-up with a 24" heavy barrel that already accurately handles Hornady 123 gr A-MAX and SST.Last edited by TomSawyerNW; 12-10-2016, 09:17 PM.If the Democrats had been in power when this country was founded, we'd be the British.

I got two for you on that request tomsawyer out of a 264 LBC chamber. Once fired Hornady brass and CCI 450 with 120 smk.
1. 28.3 grains XBR and OAL of 2.250 runs about 2480 fps out of my BHW 1x9 twist and is 3/4 MOA accurate out to 600 for me. I stopped using this load because of the low BC of the 120 but it was a nice, accurate load.
2. 27.5 grains of TAC with the 120 SMK and 2.250 OAL. This is a legit 1/2 MOA paper puncher load. No other use for it though. Great looking groups but around 2250 fps out of my barrel.

KY, the Lyman Manual #50 has a half-dozen loads with this bullet. If it wouldn't be stealing, I'd publish the data.
Lyman used a 16"-barreled Alexander Arms upper for their testing. They also tested the Sierra HP85, the V-Max95, the A-Max123, and the SST129. They achieved just over 2600FPS with the 107 and Benchmark.A shootist and reloadist for more than 50 years, this year with black rifles.
