Ammoseek has Wolf 100 grain fmj ammo listed at 4.95 a box of 20 thought the horde would like to know.

Edit to add 123 sst ammo is listed at 18.41 a box of 20 as well.

Thanks for the info. So you guys run steel cased Wolf in these $400+ stainless barrels? Seems counterintuitive to me, but I have a lot to learn

I personally don't run the cheap ammo I just saw the price and know other members here use that stuff so thought I would post it.

I run only the hornady ammo and ammo loaded by PF, I use the 100 grain NBLT ammo loaded by PF for home defense and the 123 sst rounds for hunting.

As long as you have the SAAMI chamber you're fine. Bill A had a lot of input in the designing of the steel case ammo and had intended for the Grendel chamber to eat cheap steel case ammo when he designed the chamber with the .300 neck.

I run wolf through my double star barrel that I picked up for 140 bucks. Perfect. I rarely run "good" ammo through it haha.

I just put about 60 rounds of Wolf 100 grain FMJ Steel case ammo through my 16" Faxon build yesterday. I had a couple of magazines I wanted to test plus I wanted to test this rifle with steel case to ensure function. My new build functioned 100% with the steel case ammo.

No, I run steel cased Wolf through my $195 stainless barrel. And that's all it'll ever eat

i believe that Dan Lilja himself has said it is fine in his barrel just don't expect great accuracy.
