Hey VASCAR2, what's your best go to load for the Nosler 123 grain CC ? I was thinking of trying them out when they come back in stock on over runs. And if you have fps that would be great too. Thanks
Where do you buy bullets?

I'm using 31.0 grains CFE 223, CCI 450 primers, Lapua cases mostly but Hornady are also gtg with the 123 grain Noslers. In 70 degree weather I got 2526 FPS using magnetto speed chrono in my 20" Shilen, 18" Brownell's Grendel II barrel 2471 FPS and 2449 FPS from my 16" J&T Distributing (probably a Shaw barrel with carbine length gas system).

I haven't had much luck with the 123gr A-Max using CFE 223 between 30.5grs with Lapua and CCI-450 (2475fps av-19E/S & 7S/D) and loaded up to 31.8grs CFE 223,Lapua,CCI-450 (2608fps av-46E/S & 18S/D. But I am shooting this out of the Mini Howa with a seating depth of 2.720" ojive or 2.300" OAL. That gives me a .015" jump. Maybe I'll try a shorter OAL ?

I have had good luck using 120gr SMK HPBT with 30.5grs CFE 223,CCI-450, Lapua brass (2475fps av- 25E/S & 10S/D) Also using IMR 8208XBR 28.5grs,same bullet, brass and primer produced a nice group with 2507fps av 21E/S - 8S/D. Maybe my rifle just doesn't like 123gr bullets!
