I'm loading the ELD M at mag length with 8208 and am very pleased with the results. Your velocities are lower than what I got out of mine but I don't think 3 grs. is going to make that much difference. My barrel is 20" also.

20" Bartline PF, 28.3 gr IMR8208BRX @ 2550 with a 123gr Sierra MK holding less than .5 moa. This is my go to load after using the OCW method. 27.8 of BLC2 @2500 is not a bad grouping load as well.

If you told me one shot, life or death, hit a golf ball at 50 yards, I'd likely grab my 22lr CZ 455 Trainer with iron sights.

Could be that combo simply doesn't work in your barrel. I couldn't get 123 gr SMKs to work with 3 powders in my first Grendel, so it was on to other bullets.

The PF 123gr SMK ammo is one of the scariest loads I've ever shot from a 20" Grendel, accuracy-wise.

I started losing count of how many rounds kept going through the same hole, but there were at least 8.

It was a Bartlein barrel of course, the number one barrel chosen in PRS among the top 100 shooters.

AR Comp shoots these real nice in my Grendel. Maybe try a different powder.

Update: I went a little longer. AOL 2.285 got me a lot closer. Over 28.5 gr xbr = 2510 fps. So I notice my reticle shift. And continue to shift. To 40 degrees. Shit. Vortex crossfire ll. I hear they have a good warranty.
