For guys shooting the Howa Mini Action,what is your maximum cartridge overall length with Hornady 123 gr SST bullets?

How much clearance do you leave for reliable feeding?

thank-you that is helpful info.Today I am going to test some AA2520 loads at 2.270 col.They chamber nice in my Howa with Hornady 123 SSTs.

The loads I tested were 3 shot groups at 200 yards starting at 28 grs. and working up in .3 gr. increments to 29.9 grs.So far my best group is just under .75'' @29.6grs.@2360fps.There is no sign of any issues and the velocity increase was very even.I loaded two more 3 round groups with 30.1 and 30.4 grs. Tomorrow I will try them out.There was no wind today and clear and -15C.I thought this powder would give a little more velocity.
