Tested hand loads with the 120 grain SMK over Varget at 200 yards and the results were much better. 28.5 grains grouped five into 2" (2472 fps) 28.7 grains put four into 1.8" but the last round opened up the group to 3.4" (2487 fps). I know Varget is not the "go to" powder for this cartridge but it's what I have the most of at the moment. My next test batch of ammo is loaded with CFE 223 and the same 120 grain SMK.

GaCop, Try some IMR 8208 XBR if the CFE223 doesn't work out. This gave the best accuracy out of my .264 LBC and my Howa Mini. The CFE just wasn't as accurate. I tried Hornady 123 ELD M and 123 SST's. 120 NBT's, Sierra 120 PH. The 8208 is what I load for hunting and accuracy loads. I found with a. Sierra 85 gr HP that H335 works Super. H335 also does good out of my 5.56 so double duty powder.
