    New guy learning question

Why would a .264 bullet that appears to be a good bullet for the grendel be marked as for 6.5 creedmore only?

Im sure there is a simple answer and laughing at the new guy would be perfectly fine.

That's way too long for use in the Grendel. 1.420 inches. It will be stuffed way down in the case to get to mag length take up a bunch of room needed for powder. Lead free bullets are long for their weight due to being less dense. So while the weight may be about right other dimensions aren't.

They do make a 105 grain version of it, but I've never tried lead free projectiles.

The bullet is long and cannelured in a spot that likely will not work for the Grendel. The result would be a cartridge too long to chamber.
If you chose to ignore the cannelure, proper neck tension might be an issue.

They have a 105gr Flash Tip that seems purpose-built for 6.5 Grendel:

NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO

CCW, CQM, DM, Long Range Rifle Instructor

6.5 Grendel Reloading Handbooks & chamber brushes can be found here:

Expensive pill, and not sure I would want to be the one firing that at a range with a high fire danger.
