There’s no in the Sticky, Lead-free projectile thread.

For the Grendel HordeÂs convenience, I have compiled my results for a sampling of .264 caliber lead-free projectiles (LFPs). Also included are results from testing an experimental LFP, the 90g Cereberus, developed by our very own BluntForceTrama et. al. The main goal of this work was to give the Grendel reloader a single

      Hope this helps.

Yea that's where I learned about this bullet.

Looking for member info that has used it on game animals are just plain old paper punching.

IIRC, RickOshay did the gel testing, and might have some experience to share

              A5Blaster -

I have 17 rounds left of the 85 grain makers you sent me to test.

              I loaded these in 2x fired Federal Brass , CCI 450 primers , 2.280" COAL (base to tip) , 31.5 grains of H335 - chrono'd at 3000 FPS in my 18" barrel.

Test subject #1 was a female coyote at 185 yards, quartered hard (bladed) toward me, I'd estimate penetration of 12 - 14 inches.

I soaked and removed as much fur/meat as possible - recovered bullet weighs 85.3 grains so apparently it still has fur/meat in the curls and didn't shed much weight at all.

              Photos below.

Looks like the bullet did what it was supposed to do. I assume the coyote didn’t run far after that hit.

                  That's what I'm talking bout.

I'm really digging these bullets, after deer season I may get some of the 110 grain Trex to test as well.

The BC for the Maker T-Rex 85 grain is .37. The 90 grain TNT BC is .281, won’t shed velocity quite as fast as TNT. I’m not sure if the fragmentation of the 90 grain TNT will prove more effective than the T-Rex which looks to retain more weight unless a large bone is struck. With the 90 grain TNT and 85 grain T-Rex having almost the same energy hard to say whether the 85 grain bullet with full mushroom will penetrate as deep as a fragmenting 90 grain TNT. Kind of hard to argue against the results DNS has been getting with the 90 grain TNT on feral hogs. If your going to recover a game animal no worries about lead and small fragments in the meat with the 85 grain T-Rex.

That's why I choose these bullets.

I'm more into all copper rounds lately due to know lead fragments in the meat.

And for deer and hog head, neck and high shoulder/spine shots up to 300 yards I think they will be a sledge hammer.

Plus 3000 fps I mean come on who don't like 3000 fps.

Should make a heck of a defensive bullet as well.

We were out for hogs and saw only this lone yote , I haven’t had a lot of time to get comfortable with the 85gr TREX in terms of pinpoint accuracy so DNS assisted with a shot of his own. We both struck the yote ... so nope, it didn’t run

I appreciate you letting me given these a try - I’ve been impressed with the 90 grain TNTs performance and I’m hoping these prove just as lethal - they make nice jewelry in terms of recovered bullets.

I’ll be shoulder shooting hogs to see how performance on bone is and to recover a couple...

                          He no problem sir.

I hope they do as good as I think they can.

I sent some to our own twisted mind doctor sneaky one to text as well.

Anouther point that came to mind is the 90 tnt is a short blunt hollow point and at times can jam into the feed ramps and cause a stopage.

I'm thinking that due to the Trex being a tipped bullet that maybe this would help stop some of that problem.

Wish Maker had a full line up not just the 85 and 110.

Wish they had 90,95,100 grains as well.
