Now I know why Fortier likes his 12.5" so much. I think he had the first one.

This gun has run 100% so far with 123gr Hornady American Gunner, so the unsuppressed 90gr TNT malfs were the first I've experienced, but not surprising with a light bullet like that, fast powder, and such short dwell time.

Once I suppressed it, even with the lowest gas setting, it ran like a champ with 4 o'clock ejection.

It's a group buy barrel with 5REE rifling from here on the forum.

Someone backed out on one of theirs, so I jumped on it too when BluntForceTrauma announced it the other day in the thread.

Another thing with the 90gr TNT factory ammo in my 12" is that the Maxim PDW set-up has a much stiffer recoil spring than a standard carbine spring, so even with full gas, it wasn't allowing the BCG to retract fully, causing FTFeed and FTLock/Bolt Hold Open unsuppressed.

Suppressed, it ran like a champ.
