Data looks good, thanks for sharing. I like the bullet you are using, but I an pushing it with 30.6 gr from a boltaction. Do not remember the velocity. That combination is getting about .6 for 5 shot grouls @100 yards. Same powder charge and the Berger 130s is under half MOA.

Nice I am waiting on my 12 inch upper, by percision firearms, so if I go with 25 fps lost per inch, that load should put me around 2250 fps, were there any indecation of high pressure?, do you think you could go higher ?

I didn't see any signs of over pressure but I was surprised to get 2450. So be aware, start low and work up to it.

A few on this forum are safely shooting 30.6 of lever under 130 grain bullets.

That is a nice speed. What was the temperature? Last week I saw an average of 2549 for 130 Bergers OTMs at 78 degrees from a 22" BHW barrel. 30.6 of Lever loaded to 2.265. It averages 2512 at 68 degrees.

This work-up is for a different barrel, 18" Larue.

I started with a 20" Faxon group buy barrel and was getting good groups with 29.4/leverevolution.

In the mean time I won a Larue Upper with an 18" barrel. See link: http://www.65grendel.com/forum/showt...Weekly-Drawing.
                Also a range report:

Anyway, I tried using my load from the 20" barrel with the Larue and got so, so, not bad results.

So with the Larue I started with 29.4 and went .3 up (29.7, 30.0 & 30.3) and .3 down (29.1, 28.8 & 28.5). I got sub-moa 3-shot groups with 30.0 & 28.8. This is preliminary, I will be doing more testing with the 30.0 load. Haven't chronograph it yet, soon I hope. Didn't see any pressure signs at 30.3 but that got to be getting close to max. Careful!!!

                  Follow-up range report:
Results with the Larue is looking good. Bedding the barrel made all the difference.
                  5) 3-shot groups averaged 1.01" shot during league this last Sunday.
                  Shot the 5-shot group yesterday.
