Anyone using 100 or 120gr bullets?

Had good luck with 107gr SMK in my ruger, but back in an AR now, wanting to try the 100gr ELD or the 120 ELD or SMK. Probably stick with 8208 for the powder.

Just seeing if any of you guys are using these combos? I have a 20" 1:8 twist.

Having good performance out of 100NBTs and 120 grain Fusion factory ammo out of my RAP. Still working on my AR build.

Had very good luck with the 120SMK and 8208 it should work well at least it did in mine. Still working with the ELD 123's

The best 120gr target bullet is the Lapua Scenar-L. Very accurate.

Avoid 120gr ELD-Ms, as the ogive is meant for longer throated Creedmoor and .260 Rem maybe.

What distances are you shooting?

I am using 85 - 100 grain jackets in my 1:12 twist barrel.

The 120 SMK's are absolutely the most accurate bullet I've shot in my AR/Grendel. The 107 SMK's I just haven't had any luck with, but 100gr ELD's have shot well. I've got some Scenar 108 and 123 coming this week and I'm anxious to see what they'll do. Or how I'll do with them.
