Some of us have even written reloading manuals.

The key to understanding forum knowledge is start with the notion that the information posted is fantasy. Then look for consistency and what, if any, dissent is offered. The ensuing discussion helps validate the responses.

Credibility is enhanced when the advice is consistent with and adds insight to published information.

This is especially true for the Grendel and other technical forums.

The occasional bad advice is called out - generally with respect and politeness until the poster persists with a poorly thought out or naive point. How the forum community handles these challenges tells the newcomer whether the forum should be closely followed.

Man, we are thinking along the same lines here. I tried to author a post saying the exact same thing but deleted it because it just didn't go together well. We do police ourselves pretty well.

Not sure what RM is getting at anymore but I don't want Klem to get so upset that he keels over before he leaves me his guns in his will.

Seems like this is becoming an endless stream of endlessness.
