    Lehigh Controlled Chaos 110GR

Nice load for you PSA 12" Pistol Owners. 29.5 Grains of RL15 with 110 Grain Controlled Chaos, 2.250 COAL, 1.510 Case Length, CCI 400 SRP. Sorry no speed data...Just spent a car payment getting setup to reload. Based on research and published, an educated guess is 2300-ish FPS.

Tried loads from 28.0 to 30. 29.5 was the best. .430" zeroed at 50 Yards and 1" Up 1" Groups at 100 YDS.

Optic is a Leupold AR Mod 1 - 1.5-4x20 with the SPR.

My South Texas Hunting Pistol is ready to go...now just to find the time to test it on some hide.

I had awesome results with accuracy with my controlled chaos using a 6.5CM
I had horrible results when it came to expansion and would not advice them hunting.

I know the original chaos were brass not copper and had trouble with expansion. The copper version expands well...at least with milk jug testing. South Texas hog hunt in 3 weeks will be a good test.

You can see the difference in performance between the 95gr original and the 110gr new version here:

For the Grendel HordeÂs convenience, I have compiled my results for a sampling of .264 caliber lead-free projectiles (LFPs). Also included are results from testing an experimental LFP, the 90g Cereberus, developed by our very own BluntForceTrama et. al. The main goal of this work was to give the Grendel reloader a single

Were those 95gr or 110gr Controlled Chaos?

The 110gr construction is supposed to be a lot different. DoubleNaughtSpy seemed to be getting bugle-noses with 95gr CC on hogs, and when they tested with 6.5CM, it did the same thing, so added velocity did not help open them up.
