I won't post .45 colt further so I don't hijack the thread.
HM2--Want some- still new in box- wolf soft points? I still have a few boxes that I won't use for deer hunts -perfect though as a reptilian whacker. Bill A. had some pics of them thru the b. gelatin-even he was impressed a bit. What does gator taste like? Don't reply- tastes like -chicken.
but....it really does taste like chicken. Often, it is battered, deep fried, and served with a remoulade sauce.......all of which mask the taste. But, if I had to compare it, I'd say "it tastes like chicken" but it tends to be more tender than chicken. I am speaking of gator tail btw. I have heard that the cheeks (jaw muscle) are really good too.
Quad-- Wow, is it healthy for us = Eating a rrrr... reptile ? = hmmmm.... - remoulade will mask- what ,- the recentely eaten chicken taste-, or the taste of an elongated muddy swamp Wolf ? . I'll find a local Mpls. restaurant that may have gator on the menu, and I'll try a bite.- I'll let you know- from a MN. chefs point of veiw. Thanks- Quad.
