You might try: H322, or Accurate 2495BR

I was just out yesterday playing around at 300 yards on paper. The intent was testing some 107gr TMK's. The 2 test loads shot horribly. But to make sure it was not me or the rifle (there was some wind) I shot 5 rounds of my 123gr SST's (practice loads) loaded with 8208. You can see the results. 8208 and 123gr SST's & ELD's have run well out to 900 yards here in PA.

A lot of people seem to have good results with 8208 XBR around mag length with 120 and 123 ELDs. Myself included. 27.8-28.4 is a good one in my Larue 18 inch. I'd have to check my velocity's but I believe around 2440 FPS and a low SD.

I cannot for the life of me get the Nosler 123 Custom Comps to shoot in my Larue with CFE223 or 8208 XBR.

I had an 18 inch Odin Works barrel years ago that ate up the 123 CCs with 31.2 Grain CFE 223 mag length

My unscientific observation is that 8208 is more temp stable than CFE223

h322 seems a bit fast for the 123gr pills, just like benchmark. i have an awsome load of 28.5gr benchmark behind 100gr custom comps that shoot better that i can. i have heard 8208 pressure spikes easy behind any thing over 107gr pills.. 29.6gr of cfe 223 was giving me an avg of 2500fps out of my 20in barrel today in 80 degree temps. id like to keep the velocity and gain accuracy

I frankly can't see much of a difference between them with 123 Gr bullets. These are from the Hodgdon Reloading data page. One thing to note; H322 and Benchmark are both from the Extreme Powder Line. Meaning very Temp stable, which is generally worth more than a paltry 50-70 FPS faster. Accuracy and Temp stability trumps top velocity, where I come from. IMHO and YMMV.

              Hodgdon H335 .264" 2.250" 26.0 2,288 37,800 PSI 28.7 2,508 49,800 PSI
              IMR IMR 8208 XBR .264" 2.250" 25.5 2,180 33,900 PSI 28.5C 2,497 50,000 PSI
              Hodgdon Benchmark .264" 2.250" 25.0 2,225 36,900 PSI 27.5C 2,460 49,900 PSI
              Hodgdon H322 .264" 2.250" 24.0 2,192 36,600 PSI 26.6C 2,434 49,900 PSI

What chamber do you have and why are you seating so short?

                          Hope this helps.
I'm use a bolt gun and the 123gr Lapua GB489 and running it w/ IMR 3031 @ 26.7gr pressure under 50k and around 2500+ fps, good grouping w/ hot and cold barrel but have not yet stretched it out beyond 200yds.
Have the AR-Comp for the 223 but got a local deal for the 3031 @ $20lb, similar to the Comp and loads in the 223

I have had good luck with Power Pro Varmint with 120- 125grn projectiles and good luck with ARComp for the 129-130grn projectiles.

                            All bullets used were Noslers.

picked up a pound of h335. lgs didnt have tac or aa2520 and the 8208 was 32 bucks so that was out of the question. did have imr4895 which nosler has data for but hardly any reviews on that powder
