    B.A. 12.5" suppressed

I'm the Ballistic Advantage 12.5" Hanson barrel with a suppressor. It'll be for closer shot on coyotes. I thought I'd load some 90gr Speer TNTs and 95gr V-max's to pick up some velocity since I have a shorter barrel. Anybody know what velocity I should be looking to get?

When I was doing a BA 12.5 I got ~2600 +/- with factory 90 Tnt's. Never did the 95 Vmax in it though. I did get some decent 100 gr Eldm's handloaded to 2450, nice load. Not shooting it any more. So I'd guess for the 95 Vmax you might be looking at 2500-2525 or so.

        Federal.

Handloads your barrel will tell you what speed you can get with that bullet. Depending on powder and primer used.

Gray is probably spot on in the low 2600 to high 2500 fps range.

Last time I checked on ammoseek there were some places that still have the federal AE 90 Tnt's.
