Hornady Frontier Line now has Grendel

Hornady has announced the addition of the 6.5 Grendel to their Frontier Line of cartridges:

They list the frontier 123gr FMJ as a Varmint round, not the 123gr SST listed as medium game. But I understand how it could be read wrong easily you have to click on the cartridge and look further down the page.

Cabellas in Buda Tx. has it on the shelf. Saw it today but cant remember the exact price. Believe it was $25 something though. It was more than the ELD load that I believe was $21 something. I was shocked to see any Grendel ammo at all. First time in over a year I've spotted any in there.

Over $1/round for a brand that has developed a reputation of blowing up rifles (and the manufacturing denying all claims), isn't very appealing.

Wow. I wouldn't touch the stuff given it's reputation... and it's a hard no at that price point. I wonder what they thought was going to happen?

Wolf has a 100gr FMJ and there's plenty of 123gr bullets; just for fun would like to have seen a sleeker ogive 110- or 115-grain FMJ, but, oh well. Don't know why these people never ask me!
