Yes, the 100grn TTSX, or that weight range in any other solid copper bullet is the way to go. When using solid copper bullets, we have to go away from our time honored thoughts on bullet weight. When the new TTSX's were taken to Africa, the 130grn TTSX was used in the 300 Weatherby Magnum. That tells Me that 120 or 123grn solids are more suitable for a 260 Remington. If the solid that is used is heavier than recommended, there is too much chance the pill will not open properly and pencil through, unless fired at short range. And what's the purpose in that?

I have tested the TTSX in wet news print, and lighter is definitely better.

Much testing has been done by very knowledgeable shooters on this site, and we should heed their advice, and the advice of the bullet manufacturers, and not our habits with cup and core pills.

One thing many seem to forget. Some heavy all copper bullets can and will expand at grendel speeds.

The LRX is one if them 1600 fps min. I belive Maker is the only other company that sells heavy 120+ copper bullets that have a lower expansion limit like the LRX.

So while the long copper bullets do eat some powder space. If someone chooses their bullet wisely there are a few FEW copper bullets of the 120+ range that will work.

Me personally unless I'm going to fire it from my cz grendel I'm not useing any Barnes bullet over 100 grains unless it's the LRX bullet.

The nosler etip and hornady gmx aren't even worth my time with the cz because like the Barnes ttsx,tsx,tac-tx their min expansion speed is too high for the grendel.

For my taste the 100 gr ttsx will do me fine out to 250 yds, starting at 2700 in my longer Grrs, 20-22".
Its min opening is 1800 ft/s, I like to stay above 2100 for a little margin.
