If you're shooting paper, the ELD is better. If you're hunting, SST. -
I think in the 123grainers the eld-m and the sst's are identical other than the band crimped around the sst to hold it together a bit longer.
The eld-m's have always been more accurate for me FWIWComment

I have the same thoughts as "nuthead". The SST isn't as accurate in my AR or bolt gun as the ELD-M in 123 grain. But.as a hunting bullet, it doesn't necessarily have to be.Comment

SST has a different jacket material, cannelure, and mechanical lock in the base, plus a softer polymer tip.NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO

Thank you. I was mainly interested in the bullet profile. If it were the same as the eldm it would not be worth me trying to load them.
I was hoping it was more of a tangent Ogive similar to the 120 eldm, which I am able to load long enough to get close to the lands.Comment
