    powder thrower question

anyone mount the powder dispenser to a base and not the bench?
    what size seems to work?
i was thinking a 12x12x1 or 1.5" piece for stability?
    too big? to small?
    just some targets for printing

I use a block from a 2x4, about 8 inches for a lee powder measure and a quick release clamp. Works great, can even take it to the range if needed.
depending on your powder dispenser footprint this may work for you, it's a common setup.

I screw my Lee to a 1x8 two feet long when I am ready to use it. I have my case tray on it also a counter weight. Works for me...

I use Harrells for all my needs, have two sizes. Dont have a pic mounted to box but you get the idea. Just an "L" bracket bolted to out side of tool box, drill A hole thru metal, thru bracket, bolt and wing-nut,you can still close the lid.
