A good set of calipers and hornady headspace gauge and some hornady one shot sizeing lubes is what you need to add so you can properly prep and resize your brass to not only fit your chamber and properly cycle but to also only size the case enough to not shorten the lifespan of the case.

Never follow the directions given with the sizeing die, turn it in slow and measure after each attempt and then adjust the die, keep doing it till you get a soild 4 thousands of bump back on the shoulder then lock the die down.

Your sizeing die is now set up to size brass for your chamber with the min amount of work.

That second video is good info. I'm getting ready to start reloading. But I've only done pistol on a progressive so far. I've kind of been wondering a good way to measure the shoulder right.

Harpoon, one of the first things I was taught when I was an apprentice injection mold maker at 24 years of age. Why, I don't really know, didn't use calipers much in that work. 69 now and my last mold was a while back. Still do general machining, and welding type work out of my shop, keeps me busy.

In terms of bullet pullers and calipers what does the horse generally recommend?
