Very cool to see. I loaded some of these for hunting with my 16 inch AR. I liked them because "in theory" I can reach 400 yards and still have reliable expansion

One of my favorite bullets and that is what my hunting loads are topped with. They just work and high MV is not required. Like I read on here before they just do not like to slow down, that BC is real and the expansion and weight retention is also

Good to know. This should be devastating in my 18" G.

True, I bought 500 of the LRAB a few years ago and still have quite a few so I have not been shopping that much. Just got an email showing they were in stock since I bought them before.

The ABLR on the right was into a doe at fairly close range (35-40 yards?). The two on the left were recovered from Hoosier red clay dirt berm at 100 yards. The dirt backstop is a bit harder on them than the deer was even given the shorter range on the deer hit. MV on these were at 2345.

I have since picked up some Barnes 127 LRX that will be carried in the rifle for short shots. The rifle is sighted in with the ABLR and the LRX shoot VERY close to the same POI at 100 yards. If a longer shot presents itself, the LRX will be removed and the ABLR in the magazine beneath it will be up to bat!!

That looks about like textbook performance, is it not?

I wish they made this in a 120/123 weight range. I can't get the 129s to shoot well in my rifle.
