OT, but wondering if anyone also ordered any of the discounted 6mm 90gr FMJBT. Thinking about them for my 6x45 and wondering what the base to ogive and/or nose length is. They look like they should work (I can get out to a 2.31 COAL)

Stonehendge, I think you will be fine with that bullet, it is not a VLD style bullet and the ogive is the type that seating depth is not as critical as with other nose profiles. With Sierra bullets I usually start seating to a good functioning length for the mag and if not into the lands workup with a ladder test. Usually find a good load that way

kmon, I think they'd be fine too, but with in 6x45, the issue is having the ogive above the case rim at mag length. It sure looks like it would be and I could get an optimal seating depth since they are 0.97" long and I have 0.55" from tip to case rim, but just want to be sure since if I buy them, I'm going big.
