Does anyone know the bullet length and ballistic coefficient (G1 preferably) for the steel cased 100 grain WOLF FMJ? My ballistic calculator has the data for the 100 grain Barnaul stuff, but not the Wolf. Is it the same ammo just with different vendors? Thanks.

So would I. Even the Wolf stuff can be accurate in the right gun. I average 1 MOA 5 shot groups with it with my 18" build.
I do somewhat worry about the bimetal jacket, since I've heard some people claim that it will degrade barrel accuracy over time (especially if said barrel is stainless steel). But with the cost savings, I can just buy a new barrel if necessary.

The chronograph numbers on the Barnaul steel case were pretty good. Out of a 22" Black Hole barrel
BHW 22" .264LBC

FWIW, the GI BC in my calculator default says 0.515. Might be a little optimistic consider the G1 of a 107 SMK which is similar in shape and purpose made for this, is closer to 0.45. I've actually downgraded my G1 BC in the app manually down to about 0.41 for my G1 BC for Wolf Steel.Last edited by lazyengineer; 03-11-2021, 05:35 PM.4x P100
