My buddy asked if I would help him clear out his dad's garage (his dad is currently living with my friend and his family) and I said I would.
I get there and my buddy says "you want any of this reloading equipment?". I ended up taking home:
1) Dillon RL 550B with setups for .357, .44mag, .45ACP and .308 (guess I'll have to get a .44mag revolver now!) I, currently, only own a rockchucker so this was a big-time score.
2) Duo-Matic Shotshell Reloader that looks like it's from the 60s
3) Almost 50lbs of various powders (IMR 4227, 4895 and 700-X) in OLD DuPont metal canisters (stuff smells okay...that mild ether-like smell...nothing acrid).
4) Thousands of Large Pistol and Large Rifle primers (sadly, no smalls)
5) All the accoutrements: scales, powder measures, tumblers, trimmers etc.
6) 8lb cardboard powder canister filled with LC .308 brass. Ammo cans of .45ACP, .44mag & some weird wildcat .223 brass necked up to .282in ID brass.
7) Thousands of .45ACP & .38 SWC bullets. 1,100 168gr. SMKs (boxes were from when Sierra used to be just 20 miles from my house in Santa Fe Springs, CA. They moved in 1990).
My buddy told me that his dad had inherited all the reloading stuff of one of his buddies who passed away so it was a double whammy.
I don't mean to brag but I had to share with guys who would appreciate my incredible luck.
