I went to the range today to try out some new loads...

Picture #1 was 130 gr ELD 27.5 gr 2520 CCi 400...
Picture #2 was 130 gr ELD 26.0 gr H4895 CCI 450...
At 100 yards...I know I pulled 2 of the shots in picture 2...
But all in all I'm pretty happy so far...

It's Uintah Precision bolt action upper 1-8 twist 5R 22" barrel with a Uintah Comp... Scope is a Athlon Argos BTR Gen 2 6-24X50 and Athlon 30mm 20 MOA mount...
The trigger is a Velocity 3.5 lbs...
The stock is a LUTH-AR MBA-1 and pistol grip is a Luth-AR Chubby...

Not sure on the velocity but the barrel is 22"...The Hornady book says 2300 FPS with a 18" barrel...

Going back to the range on Thursday...
I was able to get some 123gr SST bullets the other day and loaded them with 28.5gr of Accurate 2520 and CCI 450 primers...
I'll post the results when I get back...

My guess is that they will shoot. I load 28.5 of (similar) SW Match Rifle for my 600 yard target loads. I don't use magnum primers, however. ~Riuma

Glad to hear you folks are getting good results with 2520. Years ago it was my go to for shooting my M1A in high power matches. Cant wait to try it and some recently acquired CCI 450s in the grendel
