A big shipment of PPU 110gr and 120gr hit a while ago and has been widely-available with online retailers.

Any idea how that 120gr PPU load performs compared to the Hornady 120-123gr ELD-M ?

I have several boxes of the 123 Hornady just wondering about a comparison.
I also have a couple hundred of the 120gr PPU bullets to reload. I'm thinking about getting some ELD-M bullets for reloading also ( either 120 or 123 gr ). Am also considering the 129gr Interlock.

I ordered 4 boxes to test when I get a chance. I wonder if these will have small or large primers?

The big brown truck just delivered my 4 boxes of S&B 6.5 Grendel ammo. It does, indeed, have large rifle primers.

That is surprising S&B is using large rifle primers, hopefully the brass is still decent. Maybe they used LRP because that is what is used with 7.62x39 with the same size case head.

I kind of have mixed emotions. In a world of limited primer supply, the two most sought after ones are SPP and SRP. LRP might prove easier to find right now? If nothing else, one should be able to trade SRP for LRP more easily than the other way around?

As to LRP getting lose on you - maybe, I have limited experience. I will say, my brass tends to fail by splitting necks before any other reason.
