Mighty armory decapping die...

I received my Mighty armory decapping die .057 pins today... The is very well made...
I just finished decapping 200 Lapua cases without any problems...
Yeah I know it's double the price but after breaking a bunch pins in last year it's not that much more...
I'm going to get their 6.5 Grendel FL sizing die next week...

I got one of these myself. I ordered the .074" decapping pin as well as the .052" version. Ran a sh*t load of once fired LC 5.56 NATO brass through it already. The crimped primers popped out easily. Only needed to apply the normal extra pressure for crimped primers. The Mighty Armory decappers are slick!

This decapping die is awesome I went through 200 Lapua cases in no time and I also have a bunch of Federal crimped 6.8 SPC I decapped...

Had a bunch of 9mm Norma brass I shot, roughly half of it, had normal sized flash holes, the other half had extremely tight flash holes. With an old Lee decapper I got about 20 punched out before it bent. Wasn't the fault of MA decapper, but it failed on the 2nd tight Norma case...so I've stopped buying any Norma 9mm ammo, or picking it up.

I have the Mighty Armory decapping die also. Long story short, it was the only die I could use for some surplus foreign 5.556 ammo. It would bend pins, it would pop rods out the top, 3 brands later I gave up.

Then I found the Mighty Armory decapping die. Not a single failure. Plus, that spring flicks primers away so they can't re-seat back in the case when the pin pulls out!

I was using the small MA pin on those norma cases, that's how dang tight they are

Might armory warns against aerosol lubes in the die body.

I'm not sure what that means, but I've switched to peg75 lanolin based on their recommendation and haven't looked at my hornady one shot since.

Also, be aware that the die is deceptively smooth. You will feel like nothing happened but you get a successful resize. It may cause paranoia in checking the shoulder bump of every case in sheer disbelief that it could be so easy.

10 to 1 ... 10 Oz of 99% alcohol and 1oz of lanolin in a spray bottle... Spray cases wait 5 minutes then size them...
The only place I could find 99% alcohol was Amazon...

I'm using closer to 4% peg75 lanolin and amazon 99% iso
Peg 75 I got off ebay. It's water soluable so easier to wash off

No real need to go crazy on it, the surface finish is so good a little goes a long way.
