Sierra 130 gamechangers

I'm treating them in my 6.5 CM as need to be 1900+. IIRC Sierra says 1800 but that's usually just a smidge of shroom at the tip. Nice bullet and all, I haven't settled in on a CM load with them quite yet.

Honestly if you want to do 130 class in the grendel I'd recommend 129 ABLR, that one opens down to 1300 fps. It's the only one like that however. There are some small-biz guys doing some LF pills at 110-115 or so that open down to 1600. Cavity back is one.
In a 16" your MV will be rather down there for the heavies.

edit to add: in my 20" I can get ~2420 with CFE powder. You might get 100 less at 16" or maybe try Lever, that one is a bit faster MV than CFE. They are temp sensitive however.

Could be you can tune your 123 sst load. My best results for 16" barrel came around 2400-2425. Just observe that 8208 carefully as you work up to 28.0-28.5, pressures can spike quickly with that powder.
Then tweak the OAL out or in by 0.010 once you settle on your best charge.
