Is the front of the Hornady 123 ELD-M jacket skived?

This is more out of curiosity than anything else, but has anyone sectioned a 123gr ELD-M and looked at the tip of the ogive? I wonder if Hornady skived the jacket to get a more uniform peeling back of the jacket (like the SST and ELD-X). The ELD-M seems to work fine as a hunting bullet for the Grendel, even though it was not optimized for it, but that seems to be almost as much accident as design. I emailed Hornady and asked the same question but they never responded.
