    Barnes 127 gr, LRX

    Anyone try out the Barnes 127Gr. LRX bullet? If so which is the besy powder for velocity?

        Same powders for the Nosler 129 ABLR.

        Daughter shot a small buck two seasons ago with the 127 LRX and it was the most blood I have ever seen on the ground. I'm red/green colorblind and could have tracked at a jog if I had wanted.

        Using 8208 in a Ruger Predator getting barely over 2400 fps. Just picked up some AR Comp and will see what that will do now.

              When it comes to pressure, the only things that matter between mono and cup/core is weight and bearing surface. Bullet length only enters the equation as to throat length and how that will relate to powder intrusion.
