    Any recent/updated 115gr Tac-TX experiences?

    Hello all,

I just wanted to ask, since hunting season is in swing and all, has anyone got any updated or more recent experiences with the Barnes 115gr Tac-Tx bullets? I've used the search and read what I could of older threads and testing...hoping for some making meat stories though!

    Thanks and hope alls well

I haven't tried these in 6.5 but the 110gr TAC-TX 30 caliber are awesome in my 300 Blackout with H110, 296 and Lil'gun powders... Enforcer works great too...
My local gun shop has placed a order for the 6.5 TAC-TX for me...

I was able to borrow chronograph for 20 rounds...
With 19.3 grains of H110 the average velocity was 2396 fps and with 19.6 grains of H110 the average velocity was 2420 fps... The SD was 18.2 and 9.7...
I loaded some with 19.9 grains but didn't get chronograph them...
Almost forgot the barrel length is 16.5 inches...

I used the Barnes load data from their website...
Those loads group just under a half inch at 50 yards and around one inch at 100 yards...
