Another batch of really impressive targets. It does look like your shooting iron likes Tac.
After looking at your targets from the last couple years, I think your 6.5G likes several powders, and bullets.
    Keep up the good shooting.

      DB,
Are you shooting off a bipod?

Diane, curious if those groups are from your Uintah. I see similar groups from my Uintah with 120 SMKs over 27.8gr of Tac. What velocity are you getting with your load?

Yes, the groups are with the Uintah...
The velocity's are right around 2480 fps...

It works great with 3 different bullets...
                Sierra 123 smk, barnes 120 match burners,and the hornady 120 eld-m...
I loaded all of them with 27.7 grains of tac cci 450's...
I trimmed all to 1.510 inches and seated to 2.260 inches...
I'm happy with 1 inch groups but these are fantastic...
I'll do more testing when the weather gets better...
nice shooting and great work on the load.

Thanks, I started out with 27.1, 27.4, and 27.7 was the magic load for my rifle... With 28.2 grains my groups started to open up...

Barrel length? Tac is similar to AR Comp?, this is good news since AR Comp is as rare as a living Clinton witness.

22 inch barrel... The burn rate is almost the same as AR COMP... Tac is getting hard to find...

Typical, I may have to it out. Thanks. With my daughters 24" barrel she might get a fuzz closer to 2500, which is a little slower than our AR Comp load, still doable.

Now that I'm done with my 6.5 Grendel load workups I've been working on my 300 Blackout loads and have found 2 awesome loads for it...
                          110gr Barnes TAC-TX, W296 19.6 grains OAL 2.250 velocity 2417 FPS SD 9.7...
Same bullet and OAL W296 19.9 grains velocity 2429 FPS SD 4.9...
The other day I put 10 rounds at 100 yards a hair less than 1inch...
I will be hunting pigs with it

Curious, why the choice to use the 300 blackout on pigs, rather than the 6.5 Grendel?
                            From my cold dead endmill...

Most of time the pigs 50 yards away or less...
Also my 6.5 weighs 14 pounds and my 300 weighs 8.5 pounds...

Yeah, I have a 2 pound difference between 6.5 Grendel 300 blk. The 6.5 Grendel seems to be a sweet spot on the mini-action.
