Newbie looking for 100 gr Hornaday recipe

First time Grendel 6.5 reloader. I have Hornady 100 grain flat nose (target shooting), CFE223 powder, and Federal 400 small rifle primers. Looking for a safe starting powder charge to get me started. I searched online and could not find anything. Thank you in advance.

Hodgdon has free reloading data online at the link below. Hodgdon has data for CFE223 in the 6.5 Grendel with 100 grain bullets. Nosler and Barnes also have free reloading data online. Hodgdon provides actual pressures with their data which I find useful. Sierra recently released bolt gun and gas gun data for the 6.5 Grendel. If I find the data I’ll post a link.

    Hodgdon CFE223 Nosler 100 grain partition https://hodgdonreloading.com/rldc/
    Hodgdon CFE 223 2.240" 29.5 2,625 39,800 PSI 32.9 2,873 49,500 PSI

    Hodgdon CFE 223 Hornady 100 grain ELD/VT
    Hodgdon CFE 223 2.245" 30.8 2,685 40,900 PSI 33.0C 2,899 50,300 PSI

Thank you, this is exactly what I am looking for. All the other sites do not have 100 gr bullets in combo with the CFE223 powder.

I found them as Factory seconds on Midway USA. They don't say Hornady but they sure look like it

So I could send my 100 gr. partitions out at 2700 fps or so out of a 16" barrel. I think I will when I shoot up all my 120 gr. Ballistic tips.

They appear to be ELDM's with their tips cut flat.

Hornady load data lists 28.5 to 33.5 of cfe223 with their 100 grain bullets. I'd personally go 8208xbr for similar velocity with better accuracy, temp stability, and sd.

Watch your seating depth, as the 100gr Hornady has a very tangent ogive, and if loaded long, or to magazine length, you may be stuffing bullets into lands and raising pressure very significantly. Best to confirm prior to loading.
