Hornady Dies offer Rebate

I got my Hornady Grendel Dies a week or so ago and noticed a Rebate is offered.

You can get bullets (no Grendels) or the choice of two Lock-N-Load Powder dispensers.

Hornady #050069 Powder Measure ($71.99) or Hornady #050101 Powder Trickler ($84.99)

Which would you get? They are more than the dies so it actually is an unbelievable offer but Midway has the 050069 in stock and the other is due in stock on 10/12 so maybe Hornady has both.

Yup - when I bought my 300blk dies I took advantage of it.

Edit: are you sure you can get the powder trickler or powder measure? the rebate form here shows if you get the dies, measure, OR Trickler you are eligible for 100 free bullets (plus $6.95 s&h)...

i belive you misread the rebate you get 100 free bullets with the purchase of dies. powder dispenser or powder tricklier and 500 bullets free with the purchase of a press kit not a free 85 dollar powder dispenser

As far as bullet choices go, I know a couple of people who've called Hornady and requested bullets "Off the Menu". In both of those cases, Hornady obliged. I don't know what the situation would be if they're not in stock, but it's always worth asking.

I have the same form and read under "100 bullets" there is 3 choices: Bullets or one of the two dispensers. It's right on the form you added the link to.

Just wondering if one of them is better or more useful than the other.

Tedward - using that same logic, one could infer that under the 500 bullet column, a purchase of an L-N-L Ammo plant would qualify for a free L-N-L AP Press, L-N-L Classic Kit, etc. Makes little $$ sense.

I think you really need to look more closely at the flyer. All items listed below the bullet quantities are a list of qualifying purchases. The "Please include $6.95 for s/h" could have been better placed, though, as it applies to the cost of shipping the bullets.

Hornady has been running the free bullet promotion for about 5 years now I think its free bullets with the purchase of but if you can get them to send you a free powder trickles then by all means go for it

Yeah. I've done this. You don't get anything but bullets. You are checking which if the three qualifying products you bought so as to receive the 100 bullets.

OK, I'm and idiot....I was wondering why they would give a $75 item when I bought a $35 item.... Now I got it, guess it was to late last night and to early this morning... Wide awake so I'll see if I can get some 6.5 SST's.

To good to be true but also pretty crazy if it was so. I knew it seemed odd....

I have gotten maybe 1000 bullets on this program over the years. I keep buying dies for back up and as gifts and getting the bullets. I did have to wait six months once as they weren't making any 44's that were on the list and I had to wait for a production run.

ya it is a good deal. Figure dies are $35 and a box of bullets is at least $20 so sounds good to me....I like anything for free...
