Update: Copies of the handbook are at AR15Buildbox.com and deliveries have started!
Full Title: 6.5 Grendel Reloading Handbook, Volume 2 - Reloading for Hunting
Volume 2 strongly emphasizes handloading the 6.5 Grendel for the hunting role. We have more than 200 loads for many of the 80-plus 6.5 caliber bullets that are suitable for varmints and medium game hunting. One of our forum members who started as an Alaskan hunting guide and is now a Grand Slam hunter wrote a fascinating introduction illustrating why the 6.5 caliber is a good choice for medium game. Chapters in the handbook also highlight which bullets in the 6.5 Grendel make the most sense for particular weight classes of game while remembering that a heavy bullet will always work on smaller animals. These recommendations are underpinned by ballistic gelatin tests of several bullets with the results shown in the Chapter on terminal ballistics. We have updated the discussion of available commercial rifles and ammunition.
