Is it me or has Hornady just stopped making the Amax ammunition altogether. I dont want SSTs. I dont even really want to try them. My rifle already shoots the Amax awesomely why change if i dont have to. Just wondered. Im not out of Amax yet but i havent seen any since the SST came to market really.

Buy a box, try them out then decide.... They have them at the Academy in Bossier.

I think the SST's shoot better in my rifles. I had 3/4" to 7/8" groups with A-max then switched to SST's and went to 1/2" more frequently. I guess it also might be the barrel being used too.

I have tried the SST's in mine, but my rifle likes the AMAX's much more better.

I'm sure they haven't stopped making them but run a batch of one and then run a batch of the other (keeps demand high). Hopefully some Amax's will be coming off the lines soon.
