Billet Rifle systems displayed a new jig for a low profile gas block at shot show which will help the installer to install, drill and pin the gas block if needed. Scroll down to the second review to read. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...for-shot-2016/

It is a Brux barrel 24" with extended rifle length gas system.
It is .230 from shoulder.to edge of hole
      Hole is .093 in diameter
So center of hole .2765 from shoulder.

      So what is typical?

Larue has 2 versions of the 0.875" diam gas block.
-One has 0.275" port spacing for the (AR10)
-The other has 0.300 port spacing

Well like a big dummy, I didn't measure my port when I ordered it. I saw the AR10 label on the 0.275" port spacing and assumed I don't need that and I bought the 0.300 port block.

So it appears that Brux used an AR10 port spacing on my barrel and I just missed it when I ordered the gas block.
        I'm a moron.
